Terms of Use
Effective date: August 19, 2026.
By creating an account or using SmartWarrantyApp ("the service"), you agree to these Terms. SmartWarrantyApp is an intelligent warranty management assistant. It does not guarantee claim approval, reimbursement, or any specific outcome from a warranty provider.
1. The service
SmartWarrantyApp lets you save, organize, and monitor product warranties; generate AI summaries, insights, and claim drafts; receive expiration reminders; and manage subscriptions and tokens. The service is provided on an "as is" basis.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time; see our public Account & Data Deletion page.
3. Subscriptions & purchases
- Web purchases (Plus Monthly, Plus Yearly, and token packs) are processed by Base44 Payments, powered by Wix. Pricing is resolved server-side; payment is handled by the payment provider.
- Mobile/native purchases are handled through the applicable store's billing where required (Apple App Store / Google Play, or an officially enrolled alternative). Do not attempt to bypass store billing on a native device.
- Plus unlocks unlimited warranties, AI insights, the dashboard, and the claim-draft generator while your subscription is active and not past due/canceled/expired.
- You can cancel at any time; cancellation turns off auto-renewal and you retain access through the end of the current billing period.
4. Tokens
Quick and Full Summaries consume tokens (1 and 5 respectively, unless changed by the app). Tokens are credited server-side and do not expire. If an AI operation fails, the charged tokens are refunded. Token accounting is best-effort atomic; see the Privacy Policy for limitations.
5. AI-generated information
All AI analysis — summaries, insights, claim predictions, repair estimates, risk assessments, and claim drafts — is informational assistance only and may contain errors. The manufacturer or warranty provider makes the final decision on any claim. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting extracted warranty information before saving.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the warranty information and documents you upload. You grant SmartWarrantyApp a limited license to process that content to provide the service (extraction, summarization, insights, claim drafts, and reminders).
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to commit fraud or to misrepresent damage, symptoms, or history.
- Claim drafts advocate for legitimate coverage only; do not use them to deceive a provider.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful or infringing.
- Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, payment, or security controls.
8. Cancellation & account deletion
You can cancel your subscription from Settings and delete your account from Settings → Data Management. Deleting your account also cancels an active subscription. Some financial records are retained as required by law.
9. Disclaimers & limitations
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartWarrantyApp and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any outcome resulting from reliance on AI-generated information. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitation; in those cases the applicable limits apply.
10. Changes & support
We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes are reflected by a new effective date above. For support, contact us from the app under Settings → Legal & Support, or via the support contact listed at the bottom of this page.
